Mechanical Engineer & Product Designer

ENGINEER

I hold a B.S. Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester and have years of experience in CAD systems, FEA, thermal analysis, precision mechanics, and opto-mechanics. My industry experience includes automotive, consumer electronics, and advanced opto-mechanics.

DESIGNER

Good engineering shouldn’t exist without elegant design, and I pay careful attention to both form and function of my products. I’ve built complex internal hardware and maintained ease of assembly, but I’ve also designed educational and aesthetic systems designed entirely for human interaction.

PROGRAMMER

The world is increasingly digital, and software is essential, whether embedded into products, or used to build them. I hold a minor in C.S. from the UofR, and spend many of my days tinkering with Arduinos, or automating job functions.

Born and raised in England, I came to the University of Rochester in the USA to pursue a broader education where I can explore the things I’m passionate about. Driven by an early enjoyment of product design in high school, I went on to graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Computer Science. Along the way, I held leadership positions including club presidency, studied abroad in Australia, and designed a number of elegant solutions to a range of problems. I then began my journey as an engineer with Navitar Inc., where I currently design a range of opto-mechanical systems in projection, imaging, and medical industries.

This site showcases my professional journey, and is the start of my conversation with you, no matter whether you are my future employer, friend, or something entirely otherwise. I hope you find confidence in my work, and I can’t wait to see what we do together.
